Ankara, Turkey, June 24, 2016 - Brazil coach Jose Guimaraes said his side should not underestimate the importance of their win over Italy in the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix on Friday.
Brazil coach José Roberto Guimarães: "It was a important game for our team. We played against a strong team that will be in the Olympic Games. I think that our block and deffense worked better today. Also I am happy because we played like a team and the players that came from the bench played well."
Brazil player Natália: "I am happy with the way that we played in the fourth set. I know that we still have a lot to improve but we are in the right way"...
Italy coach Marco Bonitta: "It was a really tought game. We made easy mistakes in the defence and attack. It's not easy to play with Brazil. They push you to make mistakes. But i was satisfied with my teams game in most part of the match. We'll try our best for the rest of the group matches"
Italy captain Antonella Del Core: "We tried our best. Made some simple mistakes and it was hard to fix it for us. Brazil is a really good team. We'll took out some lessons from this game and try to win our other group games."
