We had some hard moments in the match, says China coach Ping

Hong Kong, China, June 24, 2016 – China saw off Netherlands in straight sets (25-22, 25-23, 25-21) on Friday afternoon and joined hosts Thailand in the Group 1 Finals.

Lang Ping, coach of China: Netherlands are a tough team as they have good defence and their service gave us hard times especially in the third set. I hope our team can get the rhythm earlier in the next match to reduce our fluctuations. 

Giovanni Guidetti, coach of Netherlands: Congratulations to China. It is always a pleasure to play against one of the strongest teams. We will be much happier if we can play more sets to gain more experience. We will evaluate and play at better level.

Hui Ruoqi, captain of China: This is our first match in Hong Kong. We feel the love and passion from fans in Hong Kong. Netherlands is an energetic and challenging team. Congratulation to Netherlands team’s high quality performance. We will summarize our strengths and weaknesses to perform better in the coming match.
