Video: Brilliant Boskovic’s huge spike rallies Serbia past Brazil

 

Serbia's Tijana Boskovic fired 30 points in their 3-2 win over Brazil at the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix in Macau, China

Macau, China, June 17, 2016 – Serbia edged Brazil for the first time at the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix, as they came from behind the thrilling five-set match, which was packed with long, breathtaking rallies.

Serbia and Brazil produced incredible rallies in the match. Serbian lefty Tijana Boskovic finished a long rally in the tie-breaker with a huge spike that gave her side match point. Boskovic’s patience on offence and defence paid off as she kept the ball in play with a brilliant dig after her first attack attempt was returned by Brazil. A second attempt was made but Brazil kept the ball alive until Boskovic's third swing finished the rally.

Brazil libero Camila Brait was key to the long rallies as she had great digs in the match, including the two sensational digs she pulled off in the third set.
