Nursevil Aydinlar delivered the match winner in their five-set encounter with Japan at the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix at Long Beach, USA on Saturday
Long Beach, USA, June 18, 2016 – Turkey withstood the long rally in the fifth set to win the match against Japan in Pool E1 of the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix at The Walter Pyramid on Saturday.
The European side faced the defence-oriented Japanese squad, which challenged them to knuckle down to earn their points. The excellent digs of the Japanese made the rallies longer but the match-ender was not a strong kill or a block, but rather a masterful return by Turkey setter Nursevil Aydinlar that deceived her opponents and sealed the crucial point that won her side the match.
