Argentina enjoyed a win over World Grand Prix rivals Kenya
Jujuy, Argentina, May 29, 2016 – Argentina’s women earned their first win of the 2016 season with a 3-0 (25-18, 25-17, 25-12) victory at home to Kenya on Sunday.
Guillermo Ordana’s team recovered from their 3-0 (25-15, 25-21, 25-14) loss to Bulgaria on Saturday with Sol Piccolo leading scoring with 13 points. They will now face Bulgaria for a second time on Monday before all three head to Tucuman for the start of the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix.
They will be joined for the Dominican Republic for three days of matches that begin on June 3 in Group 2.
