Rueda continued to score points at the start of the third set and Peru enjoyed a 10-5 lead. Leyva was also on fire and once more they proved too strong for Croatia, winning the third set 25-13.

Mira Topic and Croatia began the fourth set well and they were locked in a battle with Peru. Fabris continued to battle hard with a team-high 25 points, but Maguilaura Frias was impressive for Peru, and with the Rueda (19 points for the match) and Leyva still on song, Peru took the set 25-22 and the match 3-1.
