Rodriguez stepped up for Cuba

Bendigo, Australia, June 5, 2016 - Cuban coach Roberto Garcia singled out new player Margarita Rodriguez for praise, while Colombia’s Eduardo Guillaume said his team struggled to find rhythm.

Colombia captain Marin – “It was tough for us as we didn’t play at 100 per cent against Croatia and Cuba. We have one more weekend in Cali, and we are waiting to win all three matches so we can go to Kazakhstan.”

– "We had good concentration throughout the match. We train very hard so we have good physical condition to deal with these matches. Lescay has a good block. At the last World Cup she was the best blocker for the whole tournament."
