Zielona Góra, Poland, May 25, 2016 - Zielona Góra Mayor Janusz Kubicki has said the city is excited to welcome some of the world’s best volleyball players when Pool B2 of the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix from June 3 to 5.
The hosts will welcome Czech Republic, Puerto Rico and Canada on the opening weekend of Group 2.
“I am glad that once again the elite of women’s volleyball world can be hosted at our city’s Sports and Recreation Center Hall. What makes it even more pleasing, is the fact that together we can cheer for Polish national team, as they fight for the top prizes.
“The FIVB World Grand Prix is one of the biggest and most important events in world volleyball, and here it will also become an opportunity to see our local attractions.”
The FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix will take place from June 3 to June 26.
