Yaneva: Such results happen when you think you will win easily

Olomouc, Czech Republic, June 12, 2016 - Bulgaria captain Eva Yaneva admitted that tie breaks usually happen then the team expects an 'easy' match. Assistant coach Antonina Zetova agreed with her player, saying that Bulgaria underestimated Canada on their last day of World Grand Prix in Czech Republic. 

Bulgaria assistant coach Antonina Zetova: "We had hard times today, mostly due to tiredness of our players felt already on the third day of playing World Grand Prix. We underestimated the Team of Canada, who played very well today."

Canada coach Arnd Ludwig: "It was our best performance so far, we served and blocked well. I'm sorry that we didn't have enough forces to win the match."

Bulgaria captain Eva Yaneva: "The results like this five setter happen when you think that you will win easily."

Canada captain Lucille Charuk: "We played a great match today and we can only regret that we didn't finish the match with victory."
