Tucuman, Argentina, June 5, 2016 - The Dominican Republic earned two victories in the first weekend while Kenya lost all three of their matches in Group 3 of the FIVB World Grand Prix. Both teams think they have to keep improving for the second stage.

David Lungaho, Kenya coach: "We improved from the last two matches so I'm happy we could play on this level. We will work to improve for the second stage, but today I'm happy."
Marcos Kwiek, Bulgaria coach: "It's good to win but I'm not happy for the way we did it. We commited a lot of mistakes, so we have to improve for the next stage if we want to get in the final four".
Mercy Moim, Kenya captain: "We played well but at the end of the sets we made too many mistakes. We have to keep working on the closures because we lost concentration."
Bethania De La Cruz, Dominican Republic captain: "We started out of focus, but we could get the win and is important for us to mantain in our way for the qualification."
