Roberto: We lost the rhythm but recovered it in time

Chiclayo, Peru, June 13, 2016 - Cuba managed to claim a straight sets (25-13; 25-12; 25-20) win over Algeria in their final World Grand Prix match of the year, ending their campaign fifth in Group 3.

Algeria is a young team, although in the final set we got more fight, the girls were able to pick up the rhythm and win. Know we are waiting the outcome of Colombia and Kazakhstan, if we do not to go to the Final Four, we’ll have to prepare ourselves for the Pan American Cup in the Dominican."

Mohamed Belacel, Algeria coach: "The lack of experience in this competition put us at a disadvantage in this competition, however this competition leaves a great learning and we have to continue our work with projection to better results in the future."

Heidy Rodriguez, Cuba: "We are confident that Kazakhstan will fight to Colombia and we will pass to the Final Four, about me I hope to continue improving and have a better performance than in the World Cup."

Dallal Achou, Algeria player: "This competition we have had to play it during the celebration of Ramadan and it made it difficult for us to play, but we're a young team and we still have a lot to prove."
