Maria Marin celebrates the 3-0 victory against Mexico
Cali, Colombia, June, 10, 2016. Colombia ended its losing streak by beating Mexico 3-0 (25-18, 25-10, 25-19) and captain Maria Marin puts only one aim: getting her team among the best.
Maria Marin, Colombia, captain: "Colombia had a really hard first weekend, but now its time to do our best. Even we made a lot of mistakes, specially on reception. I think tomorrow we're going to correct it and be better to get into the Final Four. We have three outside spikers that are absolutely amazing and with their experience we can solve difficult moments."
Dulce Carranza, Mexico, captain - "We made too many mistakes in front of a team that's not totally new for us since we have faced them in previous years. They are at home and that's important, but we stopped doing what we had to. It was not our day and we have two more opportunities to play and improve."
