Croatia coach Miroslav Aksentijevic: “We knew the players we had to guard against, they played very well yesterday and we were prepared for them. These two teams deserve to play one group higher, or more, and I’m sure that we both will play higher. Ana Grbac is playing her best volleyball in the national team ever. She started with the team in 2008, and she has grown up a lot and plays very focused now.”

Colombia coach Eduardo Guillaume: “It was a lot tougher. Croatia started with a terrific serve, we couldn’t pass well in the first set and this was a punch for us for all the match. But even if we don’t play well, we play with a good attitude for all the game. No doubt consistency is an issue.”

Croatia captain Mia Jerkov: “It was more difficult, more demanding physically after yesterday and we were tired after yesterday. We were very disciplined in blocking and defence. We executed everything perfectly. The goal here is to enjoy volleyball, enjoy the good times, take care of the bad times.”

Colombia captain Maria Alejandra Marin: “It was a tough match. We made a lot of mistakes. It was a very different match. Croatia was very organised with their blocking.”
