Coach Bonitta is very happy with his team's win on Sunday
Ankara, Turkey, June 26, 2016 – Italy eased past Belgium 3-0 (25-14, 25-12, 25-21) in the FIVB World Grand Prix in Ankara on Sunday.
Italy’s Coach Marco Bonitta: It’s always good finish a big tournament like this with a win. Especially we played really good game in the first and second set. We tried our best in all sets bu the first one and second were nearly perfect for us. In the third set, Belgium took good serves but we handled this problem good. I’m proud of my team and happy fort he victory.
Italy’s Captain Antonella Del Core: Today we played a really good match. We’re really happy to close World Grand Prix with a victory. And I’m so proud of my team.
Belgium’s Coach Gert Vande Broek: I congratulate Italy on the win. They played with no mistake. They were tactically good organized. We tried to serve good to them but if our opponent was a normal team, it may be works but we were played with Italy. Especially Del Core and De Gennaro played out of standart.
Belgium’s Captain Charlotte Leys: We played not a really good game against Italy. Italy knows us really good. They knew our weakest links. They played a perfect game against us. We couldn’t answer them and we couldn’t played in our level.
